Removing a review

It’s important that hosts and guests feel free to share an honest assessment of a trip. That’s why Resortifi generally keeps reviews in place with just a few, specific exceptions.

Written reviews

Resortifi believes feedback is essential to a strong marketplace. That means we allow hosts and guests to share personal experiences of a trip, and we generally won’t remove reviews. This includes reviews related to disagreements about what occurred during a trip or claims that a review is unfair or untruthful or may impact your standing on Resortifi.

We’ll consider removing trip reviews only if they:

  • are confirmed as a form of retaliation against post-trip fees or claims for damage
  • are incentivized by a promise for payment, extra services, or a discounted rate
  • are motivated by a threat of extortion
  • contain personally-identifying information such as addresses, phone numbers, or last names
  • include profanity or vulgarity
  • reflect booked trips that didn’t take place

Host automated reviews

When a host cancels a trip, we’ll post an automated review on their listing.We’ll consider removing automated reviews only when:

  • extenuating circumstance caused the cancellation
  • guest requested the cancellation
  • guest’s flight was canceled or delayed
  • previous guest damaged vehicle or returned it late
  • you felt uncomfortable due to harassment, concerns about guest behavior, or guest expressing interest in prohibited activity vehicle required valid urgent maintenance
