Tolls
You’re responsible for paying the cost of any tolls or fees (and applicable sales tax) incurred during your trip.
Responsibility for tolls
You’re responsible for paying the cost of any tolls or fees (and applicable sales tax), including high-traffic area charges such as the London congestion charge or the ULEZ charge. If you use a host’s transponder device for tolls, you’re responsible for reimbursing them for the cost.
Toll notification and payment
Notify your host as soon as possible if you incur a toll. They might not receive notice for several months as every toll agency has a different billing cycle. Due to these differences, we allow hosts up to 180 days to receive and submit toll costs and allow customer support up to five days to process them. That means you could receive a toll reimbursement request up to 185 days after a trip has ended.
If you receive a toll invoice within 90 days after a trip has ended, you can pay or dispute it online within 48 hours of receiving notice; open the trip to view the invoice
If you receive a toll reimbursement request more than 90 days after a trip has ended, you can reply to the email with questions or to dispute.
Note: If a host’s reimbursement request requires intervention from Resortifi, we’ll charge a 3% processing fee.
Note: If you fail to pay a toll within the allotted time frame, you may be responsible for escalated charges.
