Resortifi gift card FAQ
Common questions about buying or using Resortifi gift cards.
Who can buy or redeem a gift card?
Only US residents can purchase or redeem gift cards. You don’t need a Resortifi account to purchase a gift card, but guests must get approved to drive on Resortifi to redeem one. Once you’ve redeemed a gift card, it’s added to your travel credit balance, and you can use it towards your next trip on Resortifi, regardless of the country of origin.
What denominations are gift cards available for?
Pick a predetermined value when you purchase a gift card or enter a custom amount between $25 and $2,000 for a single gift card. You can buy multiple gift cards in the same order by adding them to your cart before checking out. There are no extra fees or taxes on gift cards.
Can I get a physical gift card?
All Resortifi gift cards are e-gift cards. They’re sent digitally via email or text message, so you’ll need the email address or mobile phone number of the person you’re sending the gift card to.
How will I know the recipient received the gift card?
When you purchase a gift card, you’ll choose whether to send it instantly or schedule it to send at a certain time. You’ll receive an email confirmation once it’s sent and another confirmation when the recipient views their gift card.
Do gift cards expire?
Resortifi gift cards don’t expire. When someone redeems a gift card, they’ll see the value added to their travel credit balance.
I have a gift card but don’t have a Resortifi account. What should I do?
You’ll need to create a Resortifi account and get approved to drive before you can redeem a gift card. To be eligible to book cars in the US, you must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
Do I need a credit card or debit card to use my gift card?
All guests need a credit or debit card on file to book a vehicle, even if your gift card covers the full amount. If your gift card doesn’t cover the total cost of your purchase, we’ll charge your payment method on file for the difference.
Can I use my gift card on an already booked trip?
You can’t retroactively apply the value of a gift card to an already booked trip. If you already have a trip booked with a host, you can ask them if you’re able to cancel and rebook with them to redeem your gift card.
Tip: Avoid gift card scams. We’ll never call you and ask you to pay for a trip with a gift card.
