Messaging your guest
Use Resortifi messaging to answer guest questions about your vehicle and policies, give directions, share instructions for pickup/drop-off, send photos, or discuss trip issues.
Viewing messages from guests
A guest can message you only after they’ve requested or booked a trip in one of your vehicles. Go to your host Inbox to see messages from guests and answer as soon as you can. Guests may cancel their trip if you accept without answering a question or if the answer you give isn’t what they’re looking for.
Sending messages
Open your host Trips tab and choose the trip for the guest you want to contact. Tap “Contact guest” to start or open a message thread. You can also create message templates and schedule them at key points, such as when a guest first books, at check-in time, or before a trip is about to begin or end.
Sending photos
Select in your message thread to send photos to a guest. Choose from existing Trip photos, your phone gallery, or take new photos to upload. Both you and your guest can view the image thumbnail(s) in the message thread. Use this feature to show guests exactly where to pick up or drop off your vehicle, send a map screenshot, or help walk them through a vehicle feature. To remove a photo, select it in the thread, tap or click the trash icon, and "Confirm" to delete it.
Making trip changes
You and your guest can use messaging to discuss trip changes, but the guest must submit a trip change request via Resortifi for you to approve. If your guest doesn’t know how to request a change to their trip, send them to these instructions. Trip change agreements made in messaging only aren’t valid, as we won’t have a record of the change.
Tip: Keep all communication between you and your guests in Resortifi messaging so our support agents have a record to settle any disputes.
