Reporting a guest for speeding
What constitutes excessive speeding can vary by location — familiarize yourself with local laws. As a general guideline, you can consider speeds of 20+ miles per hour (US or UK) or 20+ kilometres per hour (Canada) over the speed limit as excessive.
If you’re notified via your telematics device that your guest is continually exceeding the posted speed limit (considering the above guidelines), send them a note in Resortifi messaging to ask that they stop.
If the guest continues to engage in excessive speeding after you’ve asked them to stop, screenshot evidence of the speeding notifications and contact support. Guests who book a vehicle through Resortifi can face consequences for engaging in prohibited uses, including excessive speeding.
