Vehicle misrepresentation​

This policy outlines what Resortifi considers misrepresentation of a vehicle on its platform and the penalties for policy violation.

Policy

Actions or activities that constitute vehicle misrepresentation include, but aren’t limited to the following:

  • Creating an inaccurate vehicle listing, including listing a vehicle with:
    • mileage/kilometres that exceed eligibility requirements wrong year, make, model, or mileage
    • wrong trim package
    • description or photos of features or functionalities vehicle doesn’t have
    • an inaccurate vehicle home location or delivery location
  • Failing to accurately photograph and disclose pre-existing damages
  • Providing a vehicle with inaccurate or expired registration or registration that’ll expire during a trip
  • Providing a vehicle without proper documentation or insurance
  • Re-listing or re-enabling vehicle(s) that were removed by Resortifi for safety, mechanical, claims-related, cosmetic, or other policy violations

Violations

Misrepresentation of a vehicle either by listing, advertising, photos, messaging, text, or by phone will result in a $100* violation fee, loss of host earnings for affected trip(s), and any applicable fees to be determined by Resortifi. It may also result in removal from Resortifi and/or voiding your protection
