Once you create a Resortifi account, you can book a vehicle that’s best for your travel plans. You don’t need your own insurance — Resortifi makes protection plans available to guests.

Create an account

To use Resortifi, first create an account. Then go to your Account page and complete the steps to get approved to drive. You must get verified and approved to drive before you can book a trip. Once you submit your information, it generally takes 24 hours for verification and approval. In some cases, it may take a bit longer if we need additional photos or information. You can check your approval status on your Account page. Early approval makes the booking process easier, but if you prefer, you can wait to get approved when you book your first trip.

Find a vehicle

You’ve been approved to drive; you’re ready to find the perfect vehicle. Choose your location and search for a vehicle; you can adjust the trip dates and times to suit your plans. You can filter by vehicle type, distance included, pick-up/return location, and other options. Read the listing for a complete vehicle description and any guidelines, FAQs, or extra instructions. You can’t message a host before submitting a trip request, but you may find your answer in the listing. If not, book the trip and then message your host. You can always cancel if the information from the host doesn’t suit your needs.

Your trip’s cost is based in part on trip length. Choose the vehicle location that works for you. This is where you’ll pick up and return the vehicle. A host may charge a fee for pick-up and return locations outside their vehicle’s home location. Check distance included. This tells you how many miles or kilometers are included in your entire trip. We’ll also display the cost of any excess distance you drive. Take note of any discounts that may apply to your trip. We’ll show any early bird or trip duration discounts applied to the vehicle’s price per day for your trip. Choose a protection plan for your trip. You don’t need your own insurance to book a vehicle. Resortifi makes protection plans at various price points available to all guests. The higher the plan cost, the less you’ll pay out-of-pocket if there’s vehicle damage during the trip. Add items or convenience Extras if available. (optional) Request to add an additional driver. (optional) If you’d like someone else to share the driving during your trip, submit their email address to trigger the approval process. Review the full breakdown of costs for your trip. Confirm all your choices before booking your trip. Book your trip. If you choose a “Book Instantly” vehicle, your trip will be automatically booked. Otherwise, we’ll notify you once your host has reviewed and accepted your request. Remember, you can cancel at no cost within our free cancellation period. See our Cancellation policy.

Note: You can only book one vehicle at a time; trip dates/times may not overlap with dates/times of any other trip you’ve already requested or have booked.
