About value-added tax (VAT)

• Resortifi is required to collect a value-added tax (VAT) on Resortifi’s fee from guests who book a trip with hosts in the United Kingdom
• Tax is collected at the UK standard rate whether you’re traveling in or outside the UK

VAT calculation and display

• VAT is calculated at a standard rate of 20% for any electronic services Resortifi provides, including trip fee, protection plan, young driver fee, and certain administrative and processing fees
• VAT is displayed as separate line item on checkout screen

VAT refunds

• We’ll refund all or a percentage of the tax depending on when you cancel as per our Cancellation policy
• We’ll refund the tax applied to the Trip fee if you cancel within one hour of the trip being accepted
• We’ll refund the tax applied to the protection plan and Young driver fee (if any) if you cancel before the trip start time
